The Rev. Curry Pikkaart earned his BA degree from Central College in Pella, Iowa and his Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. He was ordained a minister in the Reformed Church in America in 1974 and  pastored churches in Sioux Center, Iowa, and Holland, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, and South Haven, Michigan.  In 2023 he transferred his ordination to the Kingdom Network.

Pastor Curry and his wife Barbara are the parents of 3 married boys, and the grandparents of 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He and Barbara  produced “TNT (Tempted, Nurtured, & Triumphant)”, a small group discipleship resource, and he has authored “7 Habits of Highly Healthy People“,  “When the Going Gets Tough…Turn Your Stumbling Blocks Into Stepping Stones”,   and, “A Nation Under God: Reflections from Jeremiah.”
